This is the cover of the June/July 2010 issue listing of great
Blues shows and Blues Festivals all over the New England area.

Got to see the Tokyo Tramps the other night at the
Gardner Ale House's
BLUE MONDAY series.
I had a nice Thai Shrimp salad and a very enjoyable evening of Blues and Roots music from the Tokyo Tramps.
Yukikko wrote a very sincere song about her mother, who is in Japan missing her but she won't fly, so she always wants Yukikko to come home.
They also did a number of great Blues standards and although they had to "keep it down" they put some real soul into their songs and there was good musicianship all around. This is a very nice restaurant and bar, they make their own special ales and have an extensive menu with
something for everyone.

Back in March, we had a great party at the Strange Brew in Manchester, NH with Mr. Nick & The Dirty Tricks, with one of my favorite guitar players, Lonely Gus! I gave Nick his Blues Audience Readers Poll Award for Outstanding Singer: male 2010 and the band won Outstanding Band and Teddy B won Outstanding Bass player.
